Four reporters and the publisher of the Burmese-language Unity Weekly News have been sentenced to ten years in prison with hard labour. A provincial court in Pakokku found them guilty of violating the colonial-era Official Secrets Act after the weekly published a report claiming a military facility was producing chemical weapons  in northern Burma.
