Comments For 'Beginning of the end of the Chinese miracle'

April data showed that the Chinese economy is expanding further. Projected growth for QII may be as high as 7.5% and some predicted China's 2009 growth will surpass 8%. Can Chinese growth continue like this forever? NO. But China is far from a satuation point. China has to quartrible is output to equal US output and China can increase its output 10 times or more before its output per unit area and per person reach the Japanese or Western European level. In short, China can grow at 6 - 10% for the next 20 years without trouble.
