Rural Journalism Fellowship for 2010

Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) announces Rural Journalism Fellowship for 2010.
(Rs 150,000 for six weeks including travel grant & subject to TDS)

The purpose of the fellowship is to improve and sharpen understanding about India's rural crises. The fellowship involves four to six weeks field reporting on a subject concerning rural poverty, to be serialised as reports/ articles/ bulletins/ packages in an English or Hindi publication/ media outlet. All you require is a brief note on your project outlining what you intend to cover along with a string of concrete story ideas.
